INTERACT INTERACT :)

First we started out teaching the Interact song to them and yes forcing all of em' to sing :)

Yes it might be kinda boring but it was rather funny :)

Then we started off with our Splashy impromptu game!

The people we split into 2 groups and they were all numbered.

Once we called out a number, both from each side must rush for the spray and attack each other in the process ;P

Soon it became crazier and crazier and they started chasing each other all around the hall.

Hahaha so much for civilization :D

Then we realised the spray wasn't fun enough and added a bucket of water with sponges in it :D

Then rotarian, Mr Raja paid us a visit and had a short talk all about Interact :)

Fun fact #1: Did you know we were supposed to have a new interact t-shirt last year? Oh you didn't? Well I don't blame you!

Fun fact #2: Did you know we are going to have a new interact shirt this year? Oh you didn't? JEREMY and MATTHEW! go extort them! (just kidding ya we interactors are very polite and practice all 36 of the nilai-nilai moral >:D)

An Appreciation from the IU Director.

Hello Hello!
Well IU Day is FINALLLY OVERRR *screamsshouts*
its been 3 gruelling months of agony and stress like omg you cant imagine how bad it was it even affected my classmates. sorry galpals. And now its finally over its like UNBELIEVABLE like wow i worked hard for 3 months just for a 4 hour event. okay why do i talk with so many "like"? damn bimbo. Aaaaannyyywayssss, point of this post is, i couldn't have done all this without a few peoples help. You guys are soooo helpful. If it weren't for all of you I'd be dead by now seriously.
I really can't thank you all enough for all the hard work you guys did for the IU preparations. And i'm also really sorry if i give you wrong directions gosh damn stupid the form threes would know HAHAHAHAHA. Forgive me okay i wasn't in my rational mind.

Okay here goes the thank yous. I actually go and find out ALL of your names okay that shows how much I appreciate your help HAHA.

SS17 IU Day 2010

At 7 in the morning, we interactors headed to school to set up the entire hall!

We blew so many balloons up and they just...kept.. popping.

Haha but after a gruelling don't know how many hours,

THE HALL WAS SET AND READY TO GO!

Registration started and people started pouring in. Some with the excuses

I LOST MY TICKET.

Gosh. come on people.

There were 3 designs for the I.U. Day and each person was given one at random choice :)

Those interested in collecting all 3, please let me know :)

It's Rm2 each!

Our emcees for the day were Jeremy Yap and Ima Affiza!!

Jeremy's from SMK Kota Kemuning while Ima's from SMK SS17!

The first gig was Black Ribbon, Mario and Terrence.

Both from Klang and college students now.

Thanks for performing for us as you did last year :)

He sang Replay and Belaian Jiwa and Terrence even dedicated the 3rd love song to

ANNESHAAAA !!!! :D

Then it was time for the BOD introduction.

Think we did it formally?

Far from that! We cat walked down the red carpet.

Normal cat walk?

YEAH RIGHT.

We were jumping up and down in our heels.

Shaking everything we got, flinging our hair, blowing kisses, winking,

and..

THAT'S WHY IT WAS SO FUNNNN :)

Then a few of the BOD members even attempted to dance the Irish dance!...

Well not exactly ;)

Then Mini Game 1 started and 6 people headed on stage. They were supposed to act out as

A) a rainbow

B) a leprechaun

C) a pot of gold

Those who could not keep up were then eliminated :)

Each one walked away with a goody bag sponsored by the Ambassador of Ireland and of course added with our own goodies :D

such as starbucks vouchers and Irish merchandise!

Next up was Puteri!

The minute her voice reached the microphone.

The entire crowd was blown away!

First she sang Sunday Morning with he brother on the guitar and drums.

Then, she went solo! With her "Ain't No Other Man - Christina Aguilera "

This time, the crowd was cheering till no end :)

Then we had our Rootbeer Cheer! What do I mean?

You know how chinese people say "YAM SENG!"

Irish people have their own and we say " SCONTE! "

So all of us got a cup of rootBEER. and cheered together SCONTE!!!

Then La Bella Riot,

consisting of Vania,Brynn,Tracey and Jacinda, started to dance

This time, the guys mouths just remained open throughout the entire performance :)

It was time to NOM NOM.

Spaghetti, sausages, nuggets, sandwiches, potato salad, wedges and ice cold orange juice were served ! :)

FLY FM'S HAFIZ AND BASIL THEN APPEARED!!!!

Yes, and then they demonstrated what they call "showering"

Basil - as the shower head
Hafiz - as the guy taking the shower

Then 6 people came up on stage from all different schools..to do what they had demonstrated

So the goal of the whole game was to see which girl did the best "shower" on stage.

Of course everyone had their own specialties as.

"the broken showerhead"

"the vibrating showerhead" HAHAH KELVIN.

but the winner was

TIFFANY CHIN U-LYNN and her showerhead, MARIO!

Next game was really between the presidents.

Contestants were Daphne, Zhiying, Kah Tsin, Yuan Ping, William and Tracey.

The first 3 contestants are all sister school presidents!

You have got to watch this.

OUR PRESIDENT, DAPHNE MADE US FAINT. NEVER HAVE YOU SEEN HER DO THIS O.O

2 Slippers & 1 Shoe then performed.

Their harmonizing was the best ever :)

After another mini game, Funk Clusterz Crew, Damien(left) and Kelvin(3rd from left) then danced away

Liquiding and popping and epic dance moves which kept the crowd entertained for sure :)

After the final mini game was over, Barracuda performed with their songs Like A Stone and Dear God.

And then I.U. was officially

OVER!!

1st interact meeting!

Today, was our

first Interact meeting !!

Yeah our school started co-curriculum rather late but hey, we make the best of it!

So all of us gathered at the Dewan Kesidang as the classroom wasn't big enough to fit the whole bunch of us. As it was the first meeting, most people didn't know each other thus we needed to

break the ice!

We played the BLANKET GAME!!!

Yeah, we separated the interactors into two groups, 1 and 2 and each group set on different sides of the huge blanket.

Each group was to send one representative to sit right behind the blanket.

Once the blanket drops, the first one to call out the opposite group's representative's name wins!

There were

MANY MOMENTS OF SILENCE

and

MANNNYYY MOMENTS OF SCREAMING.

Hahaha! overall we had tons of fun...well not for group 2.

Group 1 had won and ordered the entire group two to go around the entire dewan either being

a duck, a dog, or a chicken.

Shu Ling and Adam went down on all fours

The Chickens did the flappy arms and bobbing heads.

The Ducks..well they duck walked.

Friendship Day finally begun

Wednesday after school

The interactors and some helpers all went over to Daphne's house and the dethorning process started! More than 400 roses were ordered so yeah.. snip snip, cut cut.

The cards were pasted and stapled.

Some people were just pure syok sendiri.

Look who the sender is? HAHAHAH.

Kris Allen giving you roses? dream on.

So anyways, yeah we packaged, we taped, and oh!

we WATCHED GLEE! together!

Pizza and McD's for dinner were ordered as some stayed on.

Ying Yee and I (Audrey) stayed over at Daphne's house to finish up the cupcakes, roses and etc.

We finally slept after TWO but atleast everything was finished!

The next morning, got up, made multiple trips to school and started distributing !

It was pure craziness. Why of all days, the form 3s had to have a ceramah!?

So anyways, yeah we delivered everything in school and yes there were some orders that didn't arrive/ got mixed up. A thousand apologies for the slip ups and I hope that you'll forgive us.

But thanks for still supporting us and buying :)

Friendship Day Preparations!

Preparations for Friendship Day 2010 will be held at

DAPHNE KHOO'S HOUSE ( house is at the row opposite Esso Shop )

Date : 10th February 2010

Time : Immediately after school ends.

ALL INTERACTORS PLEASE DO COME TO HELP OUT!

If you wanna help out and you're not an interactor, JUST COME!

We'll be packaging the flowers + cupcakes on that day.

So bring any scissors / tape / aluminium foil / cotton wool / ribbons if you do have!

COME ON :) IF EVERYONE WORKS TOGETHER, WE'LL FINISH EARLIER!
